Body Wax Strips
Silkia Body Wax strips are appropriate for hair removal on the arms and legs. With sunflower and damask rose oil, Silkia’s wax formula will leave skin soft and smooth. The post-wax aloe vera cream provided in the pack helps to sooth skin afterwards for optimum comfort and a gorgeously silky feeling.
Contents: 16x body wax strips 2x aloe vera cream sachets
1. Warm the wax strips between the hands before use.
2. Place the strip wax-down onto the desired area and smooth in the direction of hair growth.
3. Pulling the skin taut at the base of the strip and in one quick, fluid motion, pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth. Silkia’s wax strips can be re-used until the adhesion of the strip has been lost.
4. Once all desired hair has been removed, cleanse the area to get rid of any wax residue and apply the post-wax aloe vera cream for beautifully smooth skin.
Follow the instructions carefully. Always perform a patch test before use. If you have not waxed before we recommend practicing the method on the legs. Only when confident, progress to the sensitive areas of the body. If you experience any stinging or tingling when waxing, remove the wax immediately. If this sensation persists, seek medical advice.
Can I use fake tan after waxing?
We advise waiting at least 8 hours after waxing to ensure your pores have closed properly leaving you with smooth, even results.
Can I go sunbathing after waxing?
You should avoid sunbathing for 48 hours after waxing. Recently-waxed skin is prone to hyperpigmentation (permanent darkening of the skin) if exposed to the sun or to sun beds.
We would also advise against taking hot showers or using saunas and steam rooms to reduce the risk of aggravating skin and causing infection.
How long will the waxing results last?
When using Silkia waxing strips, smooth skin can last up to 6 weeks.
